Art Trapotsis

Art Trapotsis is the founder of the New England Endurance Podcast and president of Keep It Tight Athletics, a Boston-based cycling club.  He's also author of The Everyday Athlete, a book about balancing work, family, and fitness.  Arthur serves on several boards in the manufacturing sector around the Boston area. Since 1994, he has engaged in endurance sports (rowing, cycling, running, triathlon) while striving to balance work, family, and fitness.   Art has represented the United States at the ITU Age-Group World Championships as a member of Team USA’s Sprint Triathlon team and is a certified USA Cycling coach. He has an MS from Tufts University and an MBA from Babson College.

Adam Myerson

Adam Myerson is a former professional who specializes in criteriums and cyclocross. He is a 2-time Masters Continental cyclocross champion, 5-time masters national cyclocross champion, 2017 masters road champion, and 2018 masters criterium champion. Bookending his long career, he was also the 1997 collegiate national cyclocross champion. He began racing as a junior in 1987 at age 15, and was a professional for 13 years, racing his final pro season in 2015 at age 43. He began coaching juniors for free as a way to give back to the sport in 1998, and founded Cycle-Smart in 1999. He is the organizer of the Northampton Cyclocross, former president of the New England Cyclocross Series, former at-large member on the USA Cycling Cyclocross Committee, and a former member of the UCI Cyclo-Cross Commission. He received a BA degree from the University of Massachusetts - Amherst. He is also a husband and parent.

Ted Benford

Ted brings more than 30 years of experience as a coach, businessperson, administrator and leader into his role as CRI’s current Executive Director. In rowing, he has been a successful head coach of collegiate club, Division III and Division I rowing programs. Additionally, he has coached crews to the Royal Henley Regatta in the UK, lead USRowing Under-23 development camps and coached crews that represented the United States at the 2007 and 2008 World Rowing Championships. In addition, he has held multiple leadership roles outside of rowing including management consultant for Fortune 500 companies; special projects manager reporting to the COO of a $5 billion furniture company; associate director of Career Services at Tufts University and was founder of a small business that combined the experiences of Olympic rowers with leadership training experiences.
